I’ve been brokering for 25 years now, having started out in car finance and retail banking. I first came across Astute through a recommendation from Vicky Devine, Business Development Manager at the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia. As we looked further into the group, we realised that Astute really aligned with our values, how we like to do business and how we want to be perceived in the industry.
What I really like about the Astute Group is how easy it is to get things done. A quick phone call is usually all it takes. Everyone across the business, whether it’s corporate or other brokers, is essentially on call. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone. The multiple diversification platforms are also a huge plus.
Astute has also helped us move forward with our business goals. It’s opened up new avenues for diversification, especially with a greater focus on asset finance. We’ve also started making inroads into the insurance space.
